User Group Conferences
A users conference is special… we want to provide a blend of technical information about our products, provide an enjoyable and memorable environment and make sure our customers go home with a favorable impression of our organization. Murray 's keynote is designed to blend professional skills with a personal message about lifestyle and it's impact on performance.
PERFORMANCE UNDER PRESSURE
Quality In Our Work, Balance In Our Lives
Most of your users are the nuts & bolts of their operation. Their work is challenging, stimulating and rewarding… and, stressful, frustrating and draining! They are often between the proverbial “rock and a hard place” aware of the profit/service side and pushing their colleagues and themselves to always do more and meet goals. There is rarely a “normal” day except that they normally work under pressure.
Murray will zero in on how to push ourselves to ensure a passionate focus on our work; to keep our lives in balance so we can perform well under pressure day in, day out; to use the 10/90 Rule to keep our focus on performance; and to spread optimism and enthusiasm to our colleagues and customers.
We all want to be at our best every day… enthusiastic, energetic and hard working. Our attitude and the quality of our work will hinge on our lifestyle, because our lives come to work with us and leak out all day! Murray presentation will help us hone our skills for balancing hard work with wellbeing, focus with fun, fatigue with rest and pressure with
performance.
THE TROUBLE WITH THE FUTURE IS.... IT’S NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE!
Quality In Our Work In Changing Times!
In a world of change, most of us like stability and consistency. We often work in a most rhythmical environment… nearly every day the same schedule, even going to the bathroom! But our global economy requires constant change, so we are being moved out of our comfort zone and we must be agile, fluid and turn-on-a-dime flexible!
Leadership is critical to morale, spirit and teamwork in times of change. As our baby boomers work their way toward retirement and young, new colleagues fill our payrolls, we have a terrific opportunity for innovation, teamwork, mentoring and sharing. All levels of leadership will be instrumental in setting the climate for continuous improvement and inspiring their teams to be resourceful, innovative and adaptable.
Murray will explain why change is so difficult for many people, and teach us how to move folks out of their comfort zone to continually innovate rather than react to mandates. He will teach his “LAVA LAMP” philosophy, share four tips for focused meetings, help us prevent “PSYCHOSCLEROSIS” and “GROUP GRIPING” and humorously drive home the point that our optimism, adaptability and proactive mindset are the models our colleagues will follow.
